Codimir Platform Terms of Service

By using the Codimir platform, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Codimir platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Agreement ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

Codimir is a development platform that provides project management, collaboration tools, and development resources for software teams and individual developers.

The Service includes but is not limited to:

Project creation and management tools
Team collaboration features
Development workflow automation
Code repository integration
Organization subdomains and identifiers

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
Keep your account information up to date
Not share your account credentials with others
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Custom Organization IDs and Subdomains

Codimir allows users to create custom organization identifiers and subdomains for their organizations. When using this feature, you agree to:

Not use custom IDs that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
Not impersonate other individuals, organizations, or brands
Not use offensive, misleading, or inappropriate identifiers
Comply with our custom ID guidelines and restrictions

We reserve the right to reclaim or modify custom IDs that violate these terms or our policies.

5. Trademark Compliance and Intellectual Property

Trademark Compliance Policy

If you are a trademark owner and believe that a user's custom project ID, URL, or content on our platform infringes upon your trademark rights, we are committed to addressing your concerns promptly.

Upon receiving a valid trademark infringement report with proper documentation, Codimir will comply with legitimate trademark ownership claims and take appropriate action, which may include:

Immediate suspension or removal of the infringing content
Transfer of the custom ID or URL to the rightful trademark owner
Permanent restriction of the disputed identifier
Account suspension if necessary

To report trademark infringement, please contact us at legal@codimir.com with:

Proof of trademark registration or pending application
Specific details of the alleged infringement
Your contact information and legal standing
A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized

User Responsibilities

By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

You will not use custom IDs, URLs, or content that infringes on existing trademarks
You understand that trademark owners have legitimate rights to their intellectual property
Codimir has the right and obligation to comply with valid trademark claims
Your use of custom identifiers may be subject to change or removal if trademark issues arise
You will not attempt to register or use identifiers that could cause consumer confusion

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
To submit false or misleading information
To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
For any obscene or immoral purpose
To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Codimir, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind.

This includes, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
